ALOHA ATL SUPERCROSS!

The East Coast was prepped and ready for the arrival of Ryan Villopoto.

This past weekend the Volcom crew brought the party to Atlanta, Georgia for the 8th stop of the AMA Supercross Series! We arrived on Friday just in time to stop by the local Tilly's shop where the 2 time champ Ryan Villopoto signed some autographs and got a chance to meet some of  his loyal southern fans!

We covered all the fans in some ALOHA love with tons of free grinds,  product giveaways - then we waved goodbye!

This lucky girl got an autograph from Ryan and was one of the winners of the Tilly's free tickets to Supercross!

The Tilly's crew was on point thanks for all the fun!

The next morning was race day we gathered up our friends from Stratosphere, Ambush, and Tilly's, shook off the cob webs from the night before and headed to the stadium! Before we could even blink an eye it was 11am, grill was firing,
Pabst Blue Ribbon's where on ice and the "ALOHA Tailgate Slugfest" was underway! The party raged and raged and raged some more all the way up until race time.....and then after the race.......way after the race! Check below for a full recap of the days shenanigans!

The crews from Ambush and Stratosphere got to do a track walk and see the Georgia Dome's 70,000 seats like never before!

After the track walk it was back to the parking lot for some more Pabts!

2011 Skater of the Year and team rider Grant Taylor came down with his crew and got some new riding gear!

The parking lot went crazy and the boys were primed and ready to watch some Supercross!

Opening ceremonies are a highlight of the night, Ryan Villopoto came out ready in his custom Falcons Jersey!

Fans were screaming as racing got underway!

Dean Wilson crushed his heat race grabbing the holeshot and leading every lap!

Dean just missed the holeshot in the main and would start the race in second

Dean would give chase all race but couldn’t find the top spot and would leave with a respectable 2nd place finish!

Dean takes the East points lead to St Louis this Saturday

Ryan Villopoto came into the race 24 points behind the leader and was hoping to make up some serious ground!

Ryan would earn second in his heat race and one of the top gate picks in the main.

RV came out of the gate flying just missing the holeshot and settling into second right behind Stewart for the duration of the race.

Ryan earned a second place finish on the night but most importantly, gained 2 points on the championship leader!
